    Why I like it: It always good to read and compare translations. While KJV is the most universally used version, sometimes other translations allow you to grasp the meaning of verse in a more depth way. Sometimes it can also be difficult to understand the meaning of a verse due to KJV not necessarily being a language that we speak daily.  This is where I have found this particular Bible very useful!  It’s large print and both KJV and NIV are printed side by side (column, next to column) for a quick compare and contrast.  Essentially you are getting two Bibles in one and you don’t have to search in two different Bibles – Bonus and a win for myself!   • New Strong’s Concise Concordance of the Bible

    Why I like it: While this isn’t necessarily a Bible, it is viable companion to pair with any Bible.  It can be used with KJV, NKJV, NCV, NIV and other popular translations.  The purpose of this guide is to provide a quick reference to definitions, proper names for people and places that share the same name.    For example let’s say I want to look up the word ‘Love’. I would search for it as though I were looking in a dictionary.  After locating the word the concordance then list out a brief snippet of scripture were the word is found and then list the exact book and verse of where to find it in the Bible.
